We are Cashfree
Since 2025 the Swatch Beach Pro Gstaad 2025 is held cashfree. Payments can be made using all common cash-free payment options (Twint, credit and debit cards, Swatch Pay watch, etc.). You can pay quickly and conveniently using contactless methods at all bars and food stands, the merchandise stand, and all partner booths in the Beach Village.
For those carrying only cash, there will be an option to pick up a cash-free card at the Info Point and load it with cash.
Yes, throughout the entire Swatch Beach Pro Gstaad venue, you can only pay cashfree using all common cash-free options (e.g. Twint, debit card, Swatch Pay watch, etc.) or with the cash-free card. All food and beverage stands, bars, merchandise booths, and partner stands accept only cash-free payment methods. Cash payments are not accepted under any circumstances.
The cash-free system streamlines operations at sales points, reducing waiting times. It also allows for more efficient processes behind the scenes.
You can get the cash-free card at the Info Point located at the main entrance.
Contactless - just hold the card near the reader, and you're done!
The cash-free card can only be topped up with cash and only at the Info Point.
You can only load the cash-free card with Swiss francs.
You can request a refund of your remaining balance at any time at the Info Point. Alternatively, you have the option to donate your remaining balance — or part of it — to the Swatch Beach Pro Gstaad.
If you still have a remaining balance after the tournament, you can contact info@beachgstaad.ch to request a refund. After verification, we will transfer the amount to you.
Yes. Of course, when you return the dishes correctly, the deposit will be refunded to your payment method. You also have the option to donate the deposit.
The card cannot be used again. However, you can easily dispose of it at plastic collection points.

Cashfree wristband instead of cashfree card
Our volunteers receive a wristband with the NFC chip built directly into it. (Balance can be loaded onto the wristband directly at the Info Point).
Food and drink vouchers and deposit
The food and drink vouchers you are entitled to will be preloaded onto the cash-free wristband. This way, you can "pay" directly with the wristband at the Bschüssig stand, Coop, and the volunteers’ drink stand. The deposit is also preloaded onto the wristband and will be refunded to the wristband after the dishes are returned correctly.
Getting the deposit back
IMPORTANT: If the deposit is not claimed back, the refund to the wristband will be forfeited. From that moment on, the deposit must be paid or loaded out of your own pocket!
