Volunteers

Registration opens in early to mid-February and must be completed via Swiss Volunteers. The link can be found above under "Assignment."

Your personal volunteer accreditation (wristband) will be provided along with the clothing.

The common room for the volunteers is located in the basement of the Sport Lodge, House A (next to the sports center / the side courts).

All volunteers will receive two T-shirts, as well as a hoodie, a rain jacket and a cap on site.
 

For sustainability reasons, hoodies and rain jackets are generally ordered for a two-year period (2028 & 2029).
However, as the European Championship will take place in 2027, we are making an exception: The clothing will only be purchased for this tournament and may be kept after the event. If any items are returned, we will donate them to projects in Africa or Moldova.

The parking is located at the Kirchgemeindehaus, Untergstaadstrasse 8, in Gstaad.

Luggage can be stored in the basement of the Sport Lodge, House A (next to the Sports Center) in the volunteer lounge until departure.
Sport Events Gstaad GmbH assumes no liability.

Each volunteer will receive the following for their service:

Another return option on the weekend: Information House at the Center Court.

We provide accommodation in a double room (occasionally in a shared room) for all out-of-town volunteers.
Please submit any room preferences early on Swiss Volunteers. These will be considered where possible.

For each workday, you are entitled to one drink.
You will receive a wristband with your personal drink credit.
Drinks can be obtained at the Beach Village and at the Volunteer Tent near the Side Courts.
Additionally, each volunteer will receive a water bottle (please label it) for refilling.
 

For each workday, you are entitled to breakfast (for out-of-town volunteers), lunch, and dinner.

Breakfast and lunch: Coop Restaurant (Untergstaadstrasse 20)
Dinner: Pasta at the Bschüssig Stand in the Beach Village

The meal credit is on the same wristband as the drink credit, including a deposit for the reusable dishware at Bschüssig. Don't forget to reload this deposit onto your wristband at the return station.

Insurance is the responsibility of the volunteers.
Sport Events Gstaad GmbH disclaims any liability for accidents, damages, and theft.

With your personal wristband, you have exclusive access to the Volunteer stand (Sector H) during your breaks and working days.

Please hand in labelled volunteers' clothing at the clothing counter in the curling hall. They can be dropped off by 10:00 a.m. and collected from 4:00 p.m. the following day.

Valuables can be dropped off and picked up during opening hours at the clothing distribution in the Curling Hall (at the sports center).
